Hello,

My name is Alcyone and I am excited to be your nurse. I have over 7 years of experience over a multitude of specialties including pre-op and post operative care, endoscopy, and step down neuro-trauma ICU. My skills range from vital signs, medication administration, to wound/drain care as well as ostomy and tracheostomies and peg tube management/feedings. I currently have my certifications for Basic Life Support as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). I've had the absolute pleasure of caring for patients who have suffered from traumatic brain injuries, strokes, seizures, plastic surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, as well as those on ventilators needing chronic respiratory management. In my spare time, I enjoy time at the beach, cooking/baking, traveling or with my family.
